UTICA, NY - The Utica University track and field team continued to cement last season as one of the most decorated groups in the program's history, achieving another array of accolades this past week. This time, 11 Pioneers were selected to receive CSC Academic All-District recognition, adding to the colossal list of accomplishments from this past season, which will keep growing with the addition of a group of USTFCCCA All-Academic award winners in the next few weeks.
To be eligible, athletes had to achieve a cumulative grade point average above 3.5 in addition to satisfying specific athletic criteria, which, for track and field/cross country athletes, entails the following
Cross country athletes must place top-50 at the NCAA regional competition during the current academic year
Track and field athletes must achieve a top-50 regional ranking in a single event (indoor or outdoor)
Rankings were based of TFRRS regional performance, and athletes had to hit these strict athletic requirements in addition to equally rigorous academic requirements.
Lastly, all athletes had to be at least a sophomore athletically, meaning no first-year players were eligible for the awards.
With all of the above criteria in place, here are the recipients who received CSC Academic All-District distinction for their performance during the 2025-26 academic year:
