UTICA, NY - Another day, another Logan Frederick (Little Falls, NY/Little Falls) selection to the D3football.com National Team of the Week.

It took only one week for the Pioneers' star tight end to begin receiving recognition for his stellar play, as the Pre-season All-American was listed as Division III's top tight end talent during the opening week of play. This is Frederick's fourth career selection to the National Team of the Week, as he was also present for three Team of the Week's last season during a year that saw him accrue three All-American honors.

Frederick was as effective as always in Utica's 26-11 win over two-time reigning PAC Champion Washington & Jefferson. On his 22nd birthday, the Pioneer tight end led both teams in receptions and receiving yards, totaling eight catches for 101 yards on the afternoon. He helped to convert numerous clutch third-down opportunities and brought the Pioneers to the goal line on many different occasions. Frederick was as versatile as last season, as he was utilised in both the long and short game, hauling in multiple 20+ yard passes while also racking up 56 yards after the catch. 

His play helped the team get out to a 1-0 start heading into this weekend's matchup with RPI. Saturday's showdown will kick off at 12:00 PM this Saturday over at ECAV Stadium in Troy, New York.
