While there, Katwala earned the Triple "C" Award from the NYS Attorney General, the Walt Witman's Athletic Director's Hall of Fame Gold Key Award, and the Suffolk County Legislature, Gold Distinguished Award. She is pursuing her degree in Physical Therapy/ Aging Studies.
