2012-13: Zappia played in 21 games for the Pioneers … Totaled 11 points (one goal, ten assists) as a defenseman for the year … Scored his only goal in a 9-0 win over Fredonia (10/20) … Registered 20 shots and was +13 on the season … Dished out two assists in the NCAA national quarterfinal win against Bowdoin … Named to the ECAC Men's West All-Academic Team.


2010: Played in 25 games for the Pioneers … Tallied nine points on one goal and eight assists … Scored one power-play goal … Ranked second in defenseman scoring on the team … He tallied two assists on three separate occasions, Franklin Pierce (10/30/10), Buffalo State (12/11/10) and Suffolk (1/15/11) … His longest point streak was two games.

Personal: Steven is a 2007 graduate of Bishop Timon St. Jude High School and is the son of Karen and Kyle Zappia….. He is currently pursuing a degree in Risk Management.
