Utica University Athletics

2016: Played and started all 16 games of the season for Utica College … She helped lead the defense as she was first on the team with a career high 32 caused turnovers … She also reached a career high by scooping up 36 ground balls to go with her eight draw controls … She had a great game against Albright College as the team won 9-4 as she set career highs with nine ground balls and four caused turnovers (3/6/16) … She was only held without a ground ball in one game all season … She also caused a turnover in every game except for one during the year … Her work on the field earned her recognition as she was named Second Team All-Conference in the Empire 8 for her second straight year.

2015: Started all 15 games for the Pioneers during the year … In just six shots she scored four goals giving her a shooting percentage of .667 which was the highest on the team … She also reached career highs in her junior year with 22 ground balls, 16 caused turnovers and 11 draw controls … In the first game of the season she had a season high of five ground balls as well as causing one turnover against Oswego State (3/1/15) … In the team’s 15-2 victory over Alfred University, she recorded her first career hat trick scoring three goals and secured two draw controls (4/11/15) … She was selected as a member of the Empire 8’s All-Conference Second Team.

2014: Played in all 16 games while starting 13 for UC ... Scored only goal of year in a 13-11 win over Clarkson (3/11/14) ... Recorded only assist in a 12-4 win over Houghton (4/26/14) ... Scooped up 15 ground balls ... Caused ten turnovers ... Secured seven draw controls.

2013: Played in 13 games for UC … Scored two goals on the season … Put five shots on goal throughout the year … Grabbed ten groundballs … Scored both of her goals in the Pioneers’ win over Houghton (3/2/13).

Personal: Briana is a 2012 graduate of Tully High School and is the daughter of Claudia and John Estabrook... She is currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice.
