2016: Made appearances in all 15 games during his senior season starting in three of them … He set a new career high in both points and assists, finishing the year with 39 total points on 28 assists and 11 goals … He led the team in assists and was second on the team in total points as he also grabbed 20 ground balls on the season … He had at least one assist in all but two games the entire season … In nine of the 15 games the team had, he recorded at least three total points as he had a points streak of eight games … He recorded a season high of five points  against St. John Fisher as he scored two goals and had three assists (4/23/16).

2015: He started in all 16 games for the team during the year … He reached career highs in goals, assists, and points … He finished second on the team with 18 goals, first on the team with 11 assists and first on the team with 29 total points … He also contributed with 5 caused turnovers and 25 ground balls which were both also career highs … He recorded three hat tricks during the season recording his first career hat trick in the team’s 12-6 win over Oswego as he scored four goals and had one assist (3/25/15) … He contributed to the team’s 26-5 win over Houghton college scoring a total of three goals, two of them early in the first quarter for the Pioneers (4/25/15).

2014: Played in nine games while starting one ... Scored two goals in a 19-2 win over Houghton (4/26/14) ... Handed out only assist in a loss to Ithaca (4/9/14) ... Took 11 shots on the season ... Scooped up six ground balls.

2013: Appeared in two games for UC … Dished out one assist … Took four shots on the year … Recorded his lone point in the Pioneers win over Houghton (4/10/13).

Personal: Alex is a 2012 graduate of Islip High School and is the son of Lisa and George Finnegan... He is currently pursuing a degree in Health Studies Management.
