2014: Bennet opened her junior year at the SUNYIT Short Course Invitational (8/30/14) where she came in 27^th place with a time of 22:39… Placed 6^th at the Steven Warde Invitational (9/6/14) with a time of 20:33.7… Finished 54^th overall at the Hamilton College Cross Country Invitational (10/11/14) with a time of 20:00.8… Placed 35^th at the Empire 8 Cross Country Championships (11/1/14) with a season best time of 19:58.4… Concluded her junior season at the NCAA Atlantic Regionals (11/15/14) with a time of 25:48.3.

2013: Bennett started her sophomore season placing 22^nd out of 83 runners at the 7^th Annual Wildcat Invite, clocking in with a time of 21:59 and as a team the Pioneers finished second overall … Placed seventh out of 64 runners at the Steven Warde Invitational (9/7/13), averaging a 6:23.7 mile pace, and she finished with a 19:52.0 as the Pioneers won the meet…  Finished 64^th at the Saratoga Cross Country Invitational (9/20/13) with a time of 20:17.0 … Clocked a 24:50.6 at the 35^th Annual Geneseo Cross Country Invitational (10/5/13), placing 91^st out of 268…  Finished 39^th out of 90 runners at the Hamilton Cross Country Invitational (10/12/13) with a time of 20:12.0, helping the team place third at the meet… Placed 52^nd at the NYSCTC Cross Country Championships (10/26/13), clocking in with a 25:56.9 … Finished 40^th at the Empire 8 Cross Country Championships (11/2/13) with an end time of 20:08.8. 

2012: Competed in all competitions for the Pioneers in her first campaign … Opened up her collegiate campaign with an 81st place overall finish, out of 110 runners from all divisions, at the Colgate Invite recording a final time of 18:56 … Tallied one of her best finishes of the season at the Steven A. Warde Invite hoisted by Cobleskil as she placed 10th overall, out of 110 racers, with a final time of 20:19 … Finished 85th out of 141 runners at the NYSCTC Championships clocking a final time of 26:05 … Placed 49th overall at her first Empire 8 Conference Championship race clocking a final time of 20:35 … Wrapped up her freshman year at Regionals placing 208th with a final time of 26:03.

Personal: Samantha is a 2012 graduate of Mexico High School and is the daughter of Elizabeth Hillier and Scott Bennett... She is currently pursuing her degree in International Studies.
