2016: Bruzzese recorded 38 tackles (14 solo and 24 assisted) this season… The senior defensive lineman earned his first career appearance on the Empire 8 All-Conference team after leading the conference with eight sacks… He led the team with 11 tackles for a loss, and he also led all the defensive lineman with 38 total tackles… Bruzzese posted a school-record 4.5 sacks in the Pioneers' 52-40 win over Hartwick (11/12)… For his efforts against the Hawks, he was named the Conference's defensive player of the week, and he also earned a spot on the coveted D3football.com National Team of the Week.

2015: Played in 10 games… Recorded 33 tackles including 12 solos and 21 assisted. He also had six tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and two pass break ups… Had seven tackles and one sack in a game against St. John Fisher…

Perosnal: Nicholas is a 2013 graduate of Proctor High School and is the son of Michelle and Fred Bruzzese … He is currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice.
