2016: Started in ten games for the Pioneers as he played in all 15 of the team’s contests … He scored a career high in points this season with 27 by putting up career highs of 22 goals and five assists … He was second on the team in goals scored and third on the team in total points … He recorded two hat tricks on the season including when he scored a season high of four goals in the team’s 22-5 win over Houghton College (4/2/16) … He started off the season scoring six goals in the first four games including two goals against SUNY Poly where he scored the game winner as Utica won 12-4 (3/16/16) … He also finished the season scooping up 19 ground balls and caused two turnovers.

2015: During his freshman campaign he made 13 starts as he played in all 16 games of the season … He finished top five on the team with 15 goals and also added two assists … He had one game winner as well as scooping up 15 ground balls and causing seven turnovers … He started his first season off strong by scoring his first career goal in his debut against St. Lawrence as he finished the game with two goals (3/4/15) … In the second game of the year he recorded his first career hat trick against SUNY Poly as he went on to put up a season high of five goals in the team’s 13-2 win (3/7/15).

Personal: Ryan is a 2014 graduate of St. Stephen High School … He is the son of Jackie Freeman and Allan Desveaux and is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice.
