Utica University Athletics

2016-17:  Borsoi recorded 14 points on six goals and eight assists in the 27 games he played this year… Borsoi was named ECAC West Player of the Week for first time in his career after netting his first collegiate goal in the Pioneers 7-1 win over Elmira (11/18/16) and scoring his second career goal in Utica’s 4-2 victory over Hobart (11/19/16)… He also netted the game-winning goal with 2:16 left in regulation to lift the Pioneers to a thrilling 4-3 victory over Neumann University in the semifinals of the ECAC Men's West Conference Tournament on Feb. 25… Borsoi even scored the first and only Pioneers’ goal against Hobart in the ECAC West Championship game (3/4/17).  

2015-2016: Made an appearance in 27 games during the season … He recorded a total of six assists on the year and contributed four blocks on defense as well … As a freshman he made his first career assist in the team’s 5-2 win over Castleton University (10/30/15) … Towards the end of the season he went three consecutive games where he recorded an assist including against Elmira where he had a season high of two blocks in the team’s 5-3 win (2/24/16).

Junior Hockey: Borsoi played in 194 games over four seasons on three teams… His first three seasons were spent with the Sherbrooke Cougars and his fourth season was spent with the Pembroke Lumber Kings and the Gloucester Rangers… He totaled 99 points off of 25 goals, and 74 assists over four seasons… He finished the year with Gloucester last season as an assistant captain and posted 25 points in 31 games (six goals, 19 assists).
