General: Pursuing his masters in Healthcare Administration, the graduate student is from Tampa, Florida where he attended Seffner Christian High School. Hopkins has also earned the Dick Smith Award while scoring over 1,000 career points in his collegiate career. The graduate student has also earned NABC honors which is awarded to upperclassmen collegiate athletes who excel in sports while having a 3.2 or higher cumulative grade point average.
 
As a Freshman: The 2018-2019 season was Hopkins’ first as a Pioneer and he made an immediate impact. The freshman averaged 9.7 points per game while having a career high against Hilbert with 28.  In that same matchup, Hopkins also made 13 field goals showing off his shooting. Hopkins’ showed off his defensive prowess as he totaled 19 steals on the season and had a career high 8 defensive rebounds against Houghton. Hopkins also had 3 steals against Sage and shot 43.5 % from the field for the season.
 
As a Sophomore: Earned Empire 8 First Team honors with 378 points with 70 rebounds, 55 assists, and 13 steals over 26 games.
 
As a Junior: Earned Empire 8 Second Team honors with 127 points with 43 rebounds, 18 assists, and eight steals over 11 games.
 
As a Senior: Earned Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Year and Empire 8 Second Team honors with 357 points with 2 rebounds, 60 assists, and 39 steals over 27 games.

As a Graduate: Finished 4th all-time on the Pioneer scoring list, Empire 8 All-Tournament team, Empire 8 1st-Team, scored 361 points (13.4 points per game), while shooting .398 from beyond the arc (47-118) with 66 rebounds, 41 assists, 18 steals, and two blocks
