Utica University Athletics

The Utica University women's hockey team will once again "go gold" to raise awareness for childhood cancer as the Pioneers face off against Worcester State University on Tuesday, Nov. 21 (7 p.m.) at the Utica University Nexus Center for the Pioneers' 9^th annual Gold Ribbon Game for childhood cancer awareness. 

During the game, the Pioneers will wear special edition gold ribbon uniforms to raise awareness for childhood cancer.  The jerseys are currently being auctioned off and you can bid on them by sending an e-mail to: malomant@utica.edu with your name, address and amount you would like to bid. Online bidding will end at 12 p.m. on November 20th and will resume in the arena at 6 p.m. on the 21st.  All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Hope in Action Foundation, which is a local non-profit that assists families during all stages of their child’s battle with cancer.  In the history of the gold ribbon game, the Pioneers have raised over $30,000 for local families dealing with childhood cancer.
