Haydn Demers-St. Hilaire joined the Utica College baseball program as a graduate assistant coach in January of 2021.

The North Lawrence, New York native is no stranger to UC, as he logged four years on the baseball team as a pitcher. Demers-St. Hilaire wasted no time making an impact on the team, as he totaled 27.2 innings pitched during his freshman campaign. He appeared in seven games, six of which he started, and finished the season with a perfect 3-0 record. The lefty also notched 21 strikeouts on the year, which was the third-most on the team.

During his junior campaign, Demers-St. Hilaire posted the second-best ERA (3.60) on the team over 10 innings of relief work.

Off the field, he worked as an intern with the Utica Comets in the equipment department and in the Utica College women’s lacrosse office.

Demers-St. Hilaire graduated from UC with a degree in Sports Management in May of 2020.
