Luke Schulte joined the Utica College baseball team as a player in 2019 as a junior college transfer from County College of Morris. He is a player that has seen the field from multiple different positions making him a valuable asset as a coach.Â
Unfortunately, Schulte’s first season was cut short due to the COVID pandemic. The following year being his senior year, Schulte suffered a shoulder injury that ended his season. He could not stay away from the game and the team here at Utica College. Schulte stayed on with the team as an assistant coach offering his knowledge and help wherever he could. Schulte being the youngest coach and a former player offers a great insight into the players minds and an easy coach to speak with.Â
From Morristown, NJ he currently performs multiple jobs with the Utica College Baseball staff. Performing odd jobs and giving his input and knowledge that he has accumulated playing with and for some great players and coaches throughout the years.
