Ariel Mroz-Brewer

Ariel Mroz-Brewer was hired in the Summer of 2016 as the assistant field hockey coach.  She will assist head coach Nikki Kieffer with all facets of the program, including day-to-day operations, scouting, recruiting, as well as game and practice preparation.

Mroz-Brewer is a 2016 graduate of Castleton University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration. She was also a Deans List honoree in 2013, 2015, and 2016.

A four-year member of the Castleton University field hockey team, Mroz-Brewer helped lead the Spartans to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2012 and 2013.  Over that time, Castleton compiled a 31-12 record.  Mroz-Brewer wrapped up her career as the NAC leader with nine defensive saves and she was named to the Conference’s Sportsmanship team in 2015. 

Outside of field hockey, Mroz-Brewer was the SAAC President from 2013-2016. She also took part in the conference SAAC (NAC-SAAC) as the Secretary from 2015-2016.

Originally from Ilion, NY, Ariel currently resides in Utica and is studying for her Master’s degree at UC.
