Alex Horvatits was hired in the Summer of 2017 and is an athletic assistant responsible for wide receivers. He will also take on duties as a co-coordinator of video and technology, strength and conditioning, film breakdown and will act as an assistant of the accountability program. His duties also include working junior varsity games as well helping assist the program’s special teams and recruiting efforts.
Horvatits is a graduate of Thiel College where he studied early childhood and special education. He was a four year member of the football and tennis programs. He was a three-year starter for the football program at wide receiver and punt returner. He capped his career ranked in the top 10 in career touchdown receptions. In his senior season he was named captain of both the football and tennis teams.
Originally from Lancaster, NY, he currently resides in Utica and is pursuing a master’s in Education at Utica College.
