Antonio Scala joined Utica College Football as the linebackers coach in August of 2020 after playing four years with the program.
The Longwood High School alumnus and Middle Island, New York native graduated from Utica College in 2020 with a degree in Liberal Studies. Scala was a two-year starter for the Pioneers, where he accumulated 174 tackles and two interceptions. His senior campaign was perhaps his most impressive, as he totaled a team-highs in sacks (four) and tackles for loss (nine). He also finished with the fourth-most tackles on the team, totaling 63 on the season.
Scala currently resides in Utica and and is pursing his masters in Education and Special Needs at UC. Upon graduation from Utica, Scala plans on becoming a special education teacher while coaching football.
