Blaise Faggiano

Blaise Faggiano has been the head coach at Utica University since 2008. In 2023 he led the Pioneers to their second most successful season in school history, capped off with an ECAC Clayton Chapman Bowl victory over Hobart College, finishing the season 9-2. In 2022 the Pioneers had their most successful season in school history, highlighted by a 10-2 record and a second round appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament. He has the most coaching victories in program history and has led the Pioneers to five ECAC Bowl Appearances.

He has coached 99 All-Conference honorees, 14 DIII Classic All-Stars, 15 All- Region honorees, six Empire 8 Players of the Year, two Empire 8 Rookies of the Year, and six All-Americans. He graduated from Ithaca College, where he was a member of the 1991 National Championship team. He previously served on the coaching staffs at St. John Fisher University (College), Ithaca, and the University at Albany. He attended Rush-Henrietta High School, where he received All-Greater Rochester honors. Coach Faggiano sets the program’s priorities, which are faith, family, academics, and football. His coaching staff prides themselves in developing young men and preparing them for life after college football.

He lives in Whitesboro, NY with his wife Alison and two children, James and Josephine.
