Drake Carnot was hired in the Spring of 2017 as the cornerbacks coach for the Utica College football team.
Prior to joining the Pioneers coaching staff, Drake had a number of coaching stops at both the Collegiate and High School Level. Most recently as the assistant defensive backs coach at his alma mater Central Connecticut State University for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. During his time at CCSU he coached All-American cornerback Jevon Elmore as well as All-Conference safety Najae Brown. In his first full season of recruiting he successfully recruited Pennsylvania Super 25 Team, All-State running back Keonte Lucas and Rhode Island Interscholastic League Male Athlete of the Year Trevante Jones.

He graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2015 with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education.
He is originally from Stonington, CT and upon graduating from Stonington High School in 2008 he played linebacker for one season at Plymouth State University. He currently resides in Utica and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Instruction for Inclusive Classrooms.
