Coach Rogers joins the Utica University football program in August 2026, prior to the 2026 season. He joins the program as an assistant coach, tasked with coaching the running back group. Rogers' prior experience includes youth football coaching in Atlanta, Georiga, where he introduced young athletes to the fundamentals of football. He taught sportsmanship and teamwork, creating a positive environment for kids to thrive in.
Rogers graduated from Berry College in Georgia, where he learned sports leadership and strategy. He played there as a running back, setting multiple records during an impressive college career. Rogers was a five-year starter who won Offensive Player of the Year in 2022, after securing Newcomer of the Year in his freshman campaign. Rogers ranks 2nd in school history history for rushing yards and 2nd all time for rushing touchdowns as well. His individual awards include 1st Team All-Conference Running Back (2025), 2nd Team All-Conference Running Back (2022), and a historic Elite 8 DIII appearance which is the deepest run in school history.
