Coach Branch returned to the Utica Pioneers football program in August 2026. He rejoins the program as an assistant coach, tasked with the familiar role of defensive line coach, which he coached from 2014 - 2020. His duties include mentorship, film study, and developing strategic methods to ge the best of his athletes. Branch has held roles at Utica University since 2014, bringing an experienced familiarity to the program.
Since 2014, Branch has worked at Utica University with multiple roles, including Admissions Counselor (2014 - 2017), Opportunity Programs counselor (2017 - 2020), Interim Director of Opportunity Programs (2020 - 2021), and Assistant Director of Admission (2021 - 2024), before rejoining prior to the 2026 season. Branch has been a respected individual of the University for many years, and looks to assist the football program to success.
