General: From Tupper Lake, New York, graduate of Tupper Lake High School. Peterson spent time playing at North Country Community College, before transferring to Utica. He plans to pursue sports management.

Previous Accolades: 2022 – First Team All-Conference, East Division; 2023 – First Team All-Conference, East Division and Sixth Team All-State; 2024 – First Team All-Conference, East Division, East Division Conference MVP, Section X Overall MVP (Jukoski Award), Section X Class C Champion, Third Team All-State, and Tupper Lake Central School All-Time Leading Scorer (1,434 Career Points); 2025 – Superior Athlete Achievement Award and NJCAA Academic All-American; 2026 – Second Team All-Mountain Valley Conference, NJCAA Third Team All-Region, Mountain Valley Conference Champion, and SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence.
