Adam Dekker joined the Pioneers' coaching staff in the Fall of 2014 and is responsible for working with the goalies.
Dekker played four seasons in goal for the UC men’s hockey team (2004-2008). He held school-records for saves in a career (2,262), saves in a game (47), saves in a season (658), shut outs (seven), wins (47) and games played (91).
Dekker was a two-time ECAC West All-Conference selection. He was a first team selection in 2005 as a freshman and a second team pick in 2007 as a junior. He was also a USCHO.com East Region All-Rookie Honorable Mention in 2005.
He led Utica to a then-school record 16 wins and the program’s first ECAC West Regular season title in 2005. The Pioneers advanced to the ECAC West Conference Championship game that same season.
Dekker played on eight different professional hockey teams after graduation.
