2016: He played in all 15 games for the team and made six starts … He finished top five on the team in both ground balls with caused turnovers with 25 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers … He played very well against Hartwick where he recorded season highs of six ground balls and four caused turnovers helping the team pull out a 11-10 victory (4/27/16) … His hustle on the field earned the honor of being named to the Empire 8 All-Conference Team with an Honorable Mention.

2015: Played in just six games over the course of the season for the Utica Pioneers … He finished the season with five ground balls and caused four turnovers.

Personal: Aric is a 2012 graduate of Wilson High School and transferred to Utica from Niagara County Community College … He is the son of Helen and Erik Freischlag and is pursuing a degree in Health Studies.
