Biography

2016: Made two starts as he played in 14 games for the Pioneers … He finished the season with two points coming on one goal and one assist … He scooped up a career high of 18 ground balls on the season and won a career high of 23 faceoffs for the team … He did not commit a penalty all year and also a shots on goal percentage of .778 which was top five on the team …  He won a career high of seven faceoffs against SUNY Potsdam where he also snagged two ground balls ( 3/12/16).

2015: Played in five games over the course of the season … He finished the year with career highs of five total points, three goals, and two assists … He netted his first career goal in the team’s 16-3 win over SUNY Canton (3/28/15) … In the game against Houghton College he was very effective as he scored two goals, had one assist and won two faceoffs as the team was victorious by a score of 26-5 (4/25/15).

2014: Played in two games for the Pioneers ... Took three shots ... Scooped up one ground ball ... Caused one turnover.

Personal: Mitchell is a 2013 graduate of Hamburg High School and is the son of Patty and Doug Sobilo... He is currently pursuing his degree in Health Studies.
