2016: Played in all 15 games throughout the season as he started in 14 of them … He recorded career highs in both ground balls with 42 and caused turnovers with 22 … He ranked second on the team in ground balls and was third on the team in caused turnovers … Picked up at least one ground ball in every game during the season including when he set a career high with six against Oswego State (3/30/16) … He also contributed with five ground balls and four caused turnovers in the team’s 22-5 win over Houghton College (4/2/16) … His effort on the field was enough to earn him an Honorable Mention for the Empire 8 All-Conference Teams.

2015: Appeared in eight games for the Pioneers during the season … Caused seven turnovers on the year and snagged ten ground balls for the team throughout the season … Recorded season highs in both in the win over SUNY Canton as he scooped up three ground balls and caused four turnovers in the game (3/28/15).

2014: Played in five games on the season ... Scooped up five ground balls for the year ... Caused four turnovers ... Had two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 14-4 win over SUNY IT (3/6/14).

Personal: Chris is a 2013 graduate of Islip High School and is the son of Lori ann and Paul Dessert... He is currently pursuing his degree in Criminal Justice.
