Biography

2016: Made 11 starts over his 15 games played during the season … He reached career highs in five categories in his junior year … With career highs of 46 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers, he led the team in both categories … He also had a career high of points with six as he marked his career highs of two goals and four assists … He netted his first career goal against Keuka College where he also scooped up four ground balls and caused four turnovers (3/23/16) … He snagged at least one ground ball in all but one game during the year and even had three games in a row where he grabbed five … His hard work on the field paid off by earning him an All-Conference Honorable Mention by the Empire 8.

2015: Made 12 appearances over the course of the season … He finished the season scooping up 12 ground balls, three caused turnovers and one assist.

2014: Played in five games for the Pioneers ... Had two assists in a 19-2 win over Houghton (4/26/14) ... Scooped up three ground balls ... Caused one turnover.

Personal: Tyler is a 2013 graduate of Rome Free Academy and is the son of Corey Chmielewski and Jim Nicolaus... He is currently pursuing his degree in Cyber Security.
