Alex Fisher was hired in the summer of 2015 as an athletic assistant for the Utica College men’s soccer program. He will assist Head Coach Brian Marcantonio with all facets of the men’s soccer program including scouting, recruiting, practice, and game preparations along with day-to-day operations in the office.
For the past two seasons, Fisher was an assistant coach for the men’s soccer team at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. In his second season at UMass-Boston, Fisher helped the Beacons capture the programs first ever Little East Conference regular season title, conference tournament championship, and an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament in 2014. In addition to coaching college soccer, Fisher has also worked with several soccer clubs, academies, and businesses throughout New England. He currently has his NSCAA National Diploma.
Fisher graduated from Lesley University (Cambridge, MA) with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and played four seasons for the men’s soccer team. Fisher’s proudest moment as a Lynx was qualifying for the NCAA tournament in 2011 after winning the programs first ever NECC title.
A native of East Hampton, CT, Alex is the son of Timothy and Loretta Fisher and has two older brothers, Kyle and Ben. He currently resides in Utica, NY where is studying for his Master’s degree.
