Personal: Jonathan is a 2008 graduate of Pinkerton Academy and the son of Lori and Martin Wood … He is currently pursuing a degree in physical therapy/health studies.

High School and Club Experience: Earned scholar-athlete honors in his junior and senior year at Pinkerton Academy… Named team captain in his senior year…Captain of Seacoast United Soccer Club.

2008: Played in 13 games while starting three … The Pioneers outscored opponents 20-19 when Wood participated … Started the first two games of the season for UC … The Pioneers went 2-1 when Wood started … Tallied two shots on the year.

2009: Played in 15 games while starting all 15…Scored three goals and recorded one assist…The goals came against Union (09/18/09) a game winner in OT which earned Utica its first win against a Liberty League team in program history, scored and recorded an assist against SUNYIT (09/20/09) and against Hamilton (10/14/09)…Ranked second on the team in total points with seven…Tallied 27 shots…He was team captain…He was named to the Sportsman of the Year team… He earned All Conference honorable mention status.

2010: Played in 19 games while starting eight...Wood scored six goals and added two assists for the Pioneers...Ranked fifth on the team in total points with 14...He scored the game winning goal against conference rival St. John Fisher on a day he netted two goals for four points (10/23/10). He was named team captain.
