Cross Country

2015: His times throughout the season earned him qualifications for the 2015 NYSCTC XC Championship and the Empire 8 Championships … He ran a 27:22.9 for his best regular season meet time in the 8K at the Hamilton College Cross Country Invitational (10/10/15) … Came in 28^th place at the NYSCTC XC Championship out of 96 runners and recorded a time of 27:15.3 (10/24/15) … His best time of the season came during the 8K at the Empire 8 Championships with a mark of 26:56.1 (10/31/15).

2014: Attas started his first collegiate season placing 38^th at the eighth Annual SUNYIT Short Course Invitational (08/30/14) with a time of 22.05, the team placed third at the meet… Placed 14^th at the Steven Warde Invitational (09/06/14) with a time of 32:48.1, the team finished first at the meet… Finished 194^th at the Yellow Jackets Invitational (09/20/14) with a time 30:37.5… Posted a season best time of 29:28.0 at the Empire 8 Cross Country Championships (11/1/14) where he finished 61^st overall… Completed his season at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional Cross Country Championships (11/15/14) where he placed 234^th overall with a time of 29:55.7.

Track & Field

2016: Competed in seven meets during his sophomore year during the indoor season … A few of his best performances came in the Mile and the 3000M races … He set new personal records in both of those events … He beat his old time for the Mile by around 20 seconds as he finished with a time of 4:38.87 at the Utica College Doris Miga Invitational (2/6/16) … He set his new career best time for the 3000M at the Utica College Clark Invitational with a time of 9:32.77 (1/16/16).
 
He participated in six competitive meets throughout the course of the outdoor season … He set two more personal records in the spring while running the 1500M and 5000M races … At the St. John Fisher College Cardinal Classic he set his new best time in the 1500M as he finished with a time of 4:27.04 (4/30/16) … His new personal record in the 5000M is 16:39.41 that he ran during the Empire 8 Track & Field Championships (4/23/16).


Personal: Brian is a 2014 graduate of Hopatcong High School and is the son of Jill and Brian Attas … He is currently pursuing a degree in Economic Crime Investigation.
