2015-2016: She played in 26 games throughout the season for the Pioneers … She recorded two goals and eight assists for a total of ten points … She had a plus three plus minus rating and blocked four shots for the team … She scored both of her goals on the season against SUNY Canton helping the team win 6-3 (11/1/15) … She was awarded with a Second Team All-Conference selection for her great season as the senior captain.

2014-2015: Appeared in 17 games for the Pioneers … She had five points off of five assists… She had one block on the season … She had a season high two assists against SUNY Cortland (12/7/14).

2013-2014: Haasbeek skated in 25 games for the Pioneers and recorded nine assists as a defenseman … Made the ECAC West All-Rookie Team … Scored in back-to-back games on three separate occasions … Had two assists against SUNY Potsdam to help UC win 6-4 (2/23/2014) … Named to the ECAC West All-Academic Team ... Named to the Empire 8 President’s List, which requires a minimum 3.75 GPA.

2012-2013: Played in four games at defense for the Pioneers ... Helped UC secure a 5-1 win over Potsdam in ECAC West Tournament.


Personal: Janessa is a 2012 graduate of Canadian International Hockey Academy and is the daughter of Linda and Jeff Haasbeek….. She is currently pursuing a degree in Biology.
