Mary Morgan Marafino

Mary Morgan Marafino was hired as an athletic assistant for the women’s lacrosse team in December of 2018. Marafino will serve under Head Coach Kristin St. Hilaire and will be responsible for recruiting, scouting, practice and game preparation, along with day-to-day operations in the office.
 
Marafino returns to UC after being an assistant coach at Johnson and Wales University for the 2018 season. She was in charge of creating the 2018 defensive playbook, practice planning, game scouting, planning away trip logistics, as well as equipment ordering.
 
Marafino is a 2016 graduate of Utica College.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics, with a minor in History.   Marafino played in 62 games for the Orange and Blue, scooping up 80 ground balls and causing 49 turnovers.  The everyday defender also finished with two goals, two assists, and 20 draw controls. 
 
Marafino graduated from Central Square High School in 2012.  She was a four-year member of the varsity lacrosse team at Central Square and was named to the CNYCL All-League first team as a defender. 
 
Originally from West Monroe, NY, Mary Morgan currently resides in Utica and is pursuing her master’s degree at UC.
