Alyssa Manoogian was hired in the summer of 2013 as the assistant women’s soccer coach and is entering her third season. Manoogian assists Head Coach Claire McLain will all facets of the program including day-to-day operations in the office, recruiting, scouting as well as game and practice preparation.
During her current two-year tenure, she has helped guide four Pioneers Empire 8 All-Conference selections while an impressive 15 Pioneers to President’s List status.
She recently graduated from Colgate University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education and was a four-year letter winner on the women’s soccer team. The senior captain helped lead the Division I program to Patriot League Championships in 2009 and 2012. She also was a member of the Peabody Veterans Memorial High School Varsity team from 2005-2008.
Aside from her playing career, Manoogian has been an assistant coach for the District Select Girls’ Soccer Team from 2010-2012 where she coached and mentored 12, 13, and 14 year old girls along with winning the district championship in 2010 and 2011. She worked on teaching tactical and technical skills including trapping, passing dribbling and shooting techniques as well as providing insight on the ability to read the game and develop individual skills.
Originally from Peabody, MA, Alyssa is currently studying for her Master’s Degree at Utica College
