Renn Havill joined the Utica College volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach in January of 2021.
Havill's playing experience at the college level is extensive, as she played two years at Northern Virginia Community College before transferring to Northern Vermont University - Johnson.
In her junior season, Havill led the conference in kills, finished second in kills per set, fourth in points earned, and 13th in aces per set en route to receiving North Atlantic Conference All-Tournament and All-Conference honors. Havill ranked seventh in program history in kills in only one season with the team, as her senior season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Â
In addition to playing on the women's team, Havill also served as a student assistant coach for SVU-Johnson's men's volleyball team. During the 2019-20 campaign, both the men’s and women’s volleyball team completed the season with the best overall record in program history.
Havill finished her career at Northern Virginia Community College ranking sixth all-time in kills, fifth in attacks, and ninth in points. Her team was the Region XX DII champions and competed at the NJCAA DII National Championship. While playing at NVCC, Havill also coached travel club volleyball at the 15/16 age group for two years.
She graduated in December 2020 from Northern Vermont University Johnson with highest honors and a Bachelors in Business Administration: Sports Management.
