Utica University Athletics

Ryan Everding joins the Utica University women's volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2026 season.

Everding is a 2021 graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School and earned his degree in finance and economics with a minor in psychology from the University of South Carolina in 2025, graduating summa cum laude. During his time at South Carolina, he served as a practice player for the university's Division I women's volleyball program with both the indoor and beach teams.

Everding also served as president of the South Carolina club volleyball program from 2024-25, while holding several leadership positions within the university's sports executive and financial boards. He was president of the Sports Executive Board from 2023-25 and president of the Club Financial Board from 2023-25.

Prior to joining the Utica coaching staff, Everding worked as a part-time teaching assistant in the Fayetteville-Manlius School District from 2021-26. He currently works as a financial advisor with DBJ Wealth Management.

A two-time sectional champion in lacrosse at Fayetteville-Manlius, Everding brings a strong competitive background and leadership experience to the Pioneers.
