Utica, NY (3/4/13) – Junior Joe Schoen of the Utica College men’s lacrosse team was named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for his performance on the field last week.

Schoen posted a career-high seven points in the Pioneers 21-2 victory over crosstown match-up SUNY IT on Wednesday, Feb. 27. He marked his 15th career multi-point effort with five assists and two goals. Schoen’s five assists was also a career-high and placed him tied for fourth all-time on the College’s single-game assist list.

The Pioneers return to action on Wednesday Mar. 6 as they host non-conference visitor Oswego State. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
