Utica, NY (November 11, 2014) - Junior Anthony Farber, of the Utica College men's swim and dive teams, was named the College's Male Athlete of the Week Monday for his efforts in the pool over the weekend.

Farber had a solid day as he splashed two victories and a second place tally. Farber grabbed the medal in both the 100 yard breaststroke and freestyle before placing second in the 200 yard breast.

The Pioneers swept both teams Saturday downing host Wells College and Alfred State to improve to 3-2 on the season. UC is back in action Friday evening when it kicks off its home-opener against Cazenovia at the UC Pool. The contest is set to begin at 6 p.m.
