UTICA, NY – Junior Gabrielle Schnepp of the Utica College women's hockey team was named the College’s Co-Female Athlete of the week on Monday.
 
In a two-game sweep of ECAC West opponent Chatham University, Schnepp totaled seven points.  On Friday, she had one goal and two assists, including the helper on the game-winner with 1:44 remaining in regulation as UC topped the Cougars 4-3.  She followed that up with (one goal, three assists) as Utica defeated Chatham 6-1 on Saturday.   
 
On the season, Schnepp leads the team with a career-high 36 points (11 goals, 25 assists).  Her 1.14 assists per game rank second nationally and she is also fifth in the nation with 1.71 points per game. 
 
The Pioneers (15-5-1, 11-2-1 ECAC West) face a tough test this weekend as they host nationally ranked No. 1 Plattsburgh State on Saturday and Sunday.  Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. and 3 p.m. respectively.
