UTICA, NY- Senior Stephanie Siriano of the Utica College softball team was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week, Monday.
Siriano was 8-for-15 as Utica went 4-0 last week. Her biggest performance was a 6-for-8 day, including one home run, two runs scored and two RBIs to help Utica clinch a spot in the E8 tournament with a pair of wins over Elmira on Saturday. On the season, she is batting .309 and she ranks third in the Empire 8 with 14 stolen bases.
Utica is currently 21-13 on the season and 9-3 in the Empire 8 Conference. The Pioneers return to action Wednesday, as they travel to take on Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Game time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
