Utica, NY - Senior Daniela Hannah of the Utica College women's swim & dive team has been named UC Female Athlete of the Week for her impressive performance against Cazenovia on Friday night.

The Utica College men's & women's swim and dive team topped the Wildcats in convincing fashion on the road. The men's team took the dual meet 140-15 and the women's team did the same with a 96-65 victory.

Hannah, along with freshman Kate Anderson, were the sole Pioneers to tab two first-place finishes. Hannah did so in the 200 yard freestyle (2:19.44) and 500 yard backstroke (6:19.44), while Anderson tabbed first-place finishes in the 50 (28.86) and 100 yard (1:04.31) freestyle.

This duo also teamed up with Lucas DiLego and Michael Leyburn of the men's team to take home first place in the 200 yard mixed medley relay with a time of 1:59.75.

The Utica College swim & dive team will return to action Friday, January 17 at 6 p.m on the road against Alfred University.
