The Utica College field hockey team fell to No. 14 Skidmore College 3-1 on Wednesday night at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium.
The lone goal for the Pioneers came in the second half off a penalty corner and was scored by senior Carla Behe (Little Falls/Little Falls). Senior Amanda Iannello (VVS/Verona) had the assist on Behe's goal.
Sophomore goalie Amanda McDonnell (Portsmouth Abby/Sagamore Beach, MA) had five saves on the night.
The Pioneers return to action on Sunday, September 17th when they travel to University of Rochester at 1:00 p.m. The Pioneers' record now stands at 3-2 on the year.
