UC Women's Tennis Loses to St. John Fisher

The Utica College's women's tennis team lost in conference action to St. John Fisher 0-9 Sunday afternoon.

It was a tough afternoon for the Pioneers. Senior Julie Faliy (West Genesee/Syracuse) and sophomore Jenny Pliester (Walter Payton/Chicago IL) played first doubles but couldn't grab a win. In singles action Pliester (Walter Payton/Chicago, IL) did the best for the Pioneers, she went 6-0, 6-2.

The Pioneers will return to action at Oneonta on Wednesday at 4:00 PM. UC is now 1-4 overall.
