The Utica College baseball team lost both ends of a double header against visiting Ithaca College at Delutis Field in Rome, NY Friday night. UC lost game one 12-1, before falling in game two 6-2. The Pioneers led 1-0 headed into the sixth inning in game one, before sophomore hurler Chris Pallas surrendered his first run of the game in the sixth inning, as the Bombers knotted the score at 1-1. In the top of the seventh inning Ithaca used nine hits to score 11 runs to put game one out of reach. The Bombers commanded the pace of play in the night cap and jumped out to a 6-0 lead , before UC tacked on its only two runs of the game in the final two innings as they lost by four runs.
