The Utica College women's tennis team lost 9-0 to Nazareth College Sunday in the Pioneers last conference match of the 2010 season. The match took place at Nazareth College Tennis Courts in Rochester, NY.
Sophomore's
Jennifer Persio (Cheshire, CT/Tilton ) and
Carlene Bracci (Delhi, NY/Delaware) teamed up in doubles competition, however were defeated 8-4 by Nazareth's Alison Tepas and Alex Vizgaitis. Persio lost in singles completion as well (6-2, 6-1).
The Golden Flyers improved 5-4 overall and are 5-2 in Empire 8 play. The Pioneers are 0-8 overall and finish the 2010 season with a 0-8 record in the conference.
