Jennifer Persio (Cheshire, CT/Tilton ) scored
UC's lone point in singles competition and teamed up with freshman
Melanie Guzman (Augosta, ME/Cony ) for the only Utica point in doubles action.
The Pioneers highlight of the 2012 season was their big win at the Turning Stone Club against Cazenovia College on Sept. 22. UC finished with an overall record of 1-9 while 0-7 in the competitive Empire 8 Conference.
Utica will lose
Jennifer Persio (Cheshire, CT/Tilton ) and
Nives Vujanic (Utica, NY/T.R. Proctor) to graduation and look to juniors Elise Pepe,
Cailee McWilliams (Sherrill, NY/VVS) and
Taylor Banovic (Utica, NY/Notre Dame) to step up and lead the way for 2013.
