Utica, NY (10/17/12)- The Utica College women's soccer team faces a tough opponent, Wednesday, as it hosts the nationally-ranked No. four Ithaca Bombers. Kick off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Caitlyn Smith (Waterville, NY/Madison) leads the Empire 8 with 123 saves... She is also third in the conference with a .842 save percentage.
Need to Score: After outscoring opponents 15-7 in their first seven games, the Pioneers have only mustered three goals total in the last six games and have been shut out five times.
Scouting Ithaca: The Bombers are 13-0-1 overall and 4-0-1 in the conference… They are coming off a 3-0 win against Farmingdale on Saturday… Ithaca is led by Rachel Palladino who has nine goals and three assists on the year… Ithaca downed UC 3-0 last year… The Pioneers are 2-9-1 against Ithaca since 2002...
