Utica N.Y. (10/6/12) - The Utica College women's tennis team fell to Stevens Institute of Technology, 9-0, in Empire 8 singles and doubles play on Saturday in Hoboken N.J.
The 6-3 Ducks took 96 of 99 points on the day dropping the Pioneers to 1-8 overall and winless in the conference. Stevens clinched a spot in the Empire 8 championships with today's win.
The Pioneers move on to Hamilton College to face the Continentals on their home court this Thursday, Oct. 11 at 4 p.m., just one day before Hamilton travels to Ithaca College for the New York State Championship on Oct. 12. The Continentals are coming off a 9-0 win against SUNY Cortland on Sept. 26.
