Utica, NY (1/2/2013) – The Utica College women's basketball team returns to action on Wednesday afternoon when it hosts SUNYIT in a clash of cross-town rivals at the Harold T. Clark Athletic Center Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Back to the Grind: The Pioneers (5-5, 1-1 Empire 8) have played just once in the last three weeks, a 67-64 win over host Drew University on Saturday … Utica will now play four consecutive home games over the course of the next seven days … Wednesday's game against SUNYIT marks the final non-conference contest of the year for UC.

Meghan Fiore (Epping, NH/Epping) is currently tied for fifth in the Empire 8 with an average of 15.1 points per contest … She leads the team and ranks fourth in the Empire 8 with a shooting percentage of 50.8% … She also averages 7.5 rebounds per contest.
Greenwald is a Ball Hawk: Junior forward
Bridget Greenwald (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) leads the Empire 8 Conference and ranks 27th in the country with an average of 10.2 rebounds per contest … Greenwald is also averaging 9.2 points per game … She is the only player in the conference with over 100 rebounds so far this season.
Miceli's Career is Off to a Quick Start: Freshman shooting guard
Mary Miceli (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) has proven to be a quick study and she currently ranks third on the team with an average of 8.7 points per contest … She also averages 5.1 rebounds per game … She leads the team with 12 3-pointers made through ten games.
