Meghan Fiore (Epping, NH/Epping) led the Pioneers with nine points and 11 rebounds.
Stevens opened up the contest with an 11-0 run over the first four minutes of play to take an early double-digit lead. Fiore, UC's leading scorer, worked a three-point play, at 16:39, to get UC on the board, however the Pioneers trailed 13-3 early on. She would keep the squad close as she netted her ninth point of the game with 3:25 remaining in the first half to bring Utica with five of the lead, 22-17, with just over three minutes to play before the break.
Nonetheless, the Ducks would use a 9-0 strut to close out the initial 20 minutes of action with a 31-17 advantage into the locker room. Molly Spadaro led the home team with 10 points, six boards and four assists while Fiore headed UC with nine points and six grabs.
In the second half, the Ducks quickly came out the gate and pushed to a 31 point lead, 50-19, using a 19-2 run behind their home fans. The Pioneers battled over the next few minutes with a 17-8 spree, however could not overcome the early rush by Stevens as the Ducks remain in the fight for the conference standings.
UC now falls to 10-11 overall while 6-5 in the Empire 8 Conference and returns to the hardwood Tuesday night to face Hartwick College televised live on Time Warner Sports Cable at the Clark Athletic Center in Utica, NY. The Ducks even their overall record at 10-10 including a 5-5 mark in conference play. Stevens is back in action Monday night as it travels across town to challenge Richard Stockton College in non-league play set for 7 p.m.

Bridget Greenwald (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) and freshman
Mary Miceli (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) each added six points.
Dylan Krause and Maggie Kowalska combined for 24 points and 16 boards while Spadaro chipped in with 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists to guide the Ducks in the 22 score victory.
