Utica, NY (3/11/13)- Senior Meghan Fiore (Epping, NH/Epping) of the Utica College women's basketball team was named to the ECAC Upstate First Team, Monday. 

Fiore, who was also an Empire 8 Conference First Team selection, led the team with 15.2 points per game.  She finished third in the conference in points (379) and field goal percentage (49%) and was fourth in the E8 with 8.3 rebounds per game.  She had five 20+ point performances including a season-high 28 points in UC's 77-67 loss to RPI, and a team-best nine double-doubles this year.

The forward capped off her illustrious career with 1,492 points, good enough for fourth on the College's all-time list.  She is sixth on the career list with 662 boards, and is just the fifth player in program history to net 1,000+ points and grab over 500 rebounds.

The Pioneers finished the season with a 12-13 overall record and a 7-7 mark in the conference.
